HOWARD R ADAMS (Radar Observer)

Born: September 4, 1922.
Deceased: July 7, 2013

Howard (Dad) was very instrumental in the evolution of this web site.
We were very close, and it was so great being in close geographic proximity to each other.
He had lots and lots of photos and documentation regarding the "Kee Bird", and he shared many of his memories with me about the entire incident.

Howard was born in Roulette, PA and lived the majority of his adult life in Clinton, MD just outside of Andrew's AFB. He remained in extremely good health until just prior to his passing away at the age of 90 in Long Island, NY.
Howard served through World War II, the Cold War and also served a tour during the Vietnam Conlict in 1968.
He retired from the USAF with 28 years of distinguished service in 1970 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Howard was interned at Arlington National Cemetary with full military honors.
More detail can be gleaned from Howard's obituary.
